Easemoni is one of the available mobile loan providers in Nigeria. If you need a quick loan to settle some bills, then you have Easemoni Loan to help you out. However, whether they are monitored and regulated by CBN is still unknown. After all, hundreds of online loans are operating in Nigeria without the approval of the CBN.

Easemoni Loan, USSD code Repayment and Interest rates

The purpose of this post is to review the online loan provider known as easemoni loan, and I will be here to answer all your questions. So if you wish to know more about them, you are at the right place.

What is easemoni loan?

Several mobile loan apps and lenders started operating in Nigeria after introducing the bank verification number (BVN) a few years ago. Since then, Nigerians has had both good and bad experience with those mobile loan app and lenders.

Easemoni Loan, on the other hand, is just one out of hundreds of mobile loan app providers that promises to offer up to 1 million loans to individuals, either for personal consumption or business purposes. However, the question is, are they giving up to a 1 million naira loan?

Fact checked: I wouldn’t say I like reviewing a loan provider without actually checking them out. When I was preparing to write about Easemoni, I first downloaded and registered to see how it works, even though I had to compromise most of my details.

The truth is that Easemoni doesn’t give 1 million loans, and you can’t get anything close to that amount. However, to get a reasonable amount of money, you must build your reputation and trust by borrowing and replaying on time. Still, I can’t say you can get up to 500k to more than 1 million.

I am writing this without bias because Easemoni loan providers have not offended me, maybe because I never gave them a chance to. However, I went through their customer reviews, which I could differentiate from honest user reviews and paid reviewers.

My humble advice to anyone who wishes to use Easemoni to get a loan is to be careful and make sure that you have a concrete plan on how to repay the loan before the due date because they can threaten, insult and send messages to your phone contacts.

You are already familiar with the system if you have used any of the numerous mobile loan apps. Easemoni is not different, and the process is not that hard.

According to the information I got, Easemoni is real and has been giving loans to hundreds of Nigerians. However, I am not okay with their mode of operation.

Easemoni Loan General Requirements

Mobile loan providers always say there is no paperwork or collateral when applying for a loan. Still, you must be ready to compromise some of your personal details during the registration. However, that is their requirement if you need a loan from them. The requirements are as follows:

  • Your bank verification number (BVN), but there is nothing to be worried about. No one can steal your money with your BVN. They use it to know you more.
  • They will request your phone number, which can help them to communicate. It also helps to authenticate your login to their mobile app.
  • According to them, you should be between 20 to 55 years old before qualifying for a loan from Easemoni.
  • They will also need your bank account number to send your loan to you.
  • Your ATM card details, including the PIN, might be required to verify your account, but it also gives them access to debit your account when your loan is due for repayment.

How to get Easemoni loan

To get started, go to google play store and search for Easemoni loan. Download and install it. You must follow two steps to register and get a loan from Easemoni.

#2. Getting an instant loan from Easemoni

  • Select the loan amount and click Apply Now.
  • Input and confirm the account that you wish to receive your loan
  • You will be charged N50 to verify your ATM for repayment purposes
  • If your loan application is successful, you will receive it in less than 3 minutes in your bank account.

Easemoni USSD Code

The good thing about the Easemoni loan is that you can request a loan using a USSD code. So if you don’t have a smartphone and need a loan, then using a shortcode is your best option. The shortcode to dial for the Easemoni loan is *347*334#

The issue of not having an internet connection or smartphone is solved with this USSD code. Anytime you need a loan, dial the code above and get a loan from Easemoni from anywhere in Nigeria.

Easemoni Interest rate duration

One thing that comes to mind when planning to get a loan is the interest rate and loan duration. However, the Easemoni Interest rate is 5-10% of the borrowed amount. However, the interest differs from user to user because they decide your interest rate based on your credit report history.

From my observation, Easemoni loan interest is way too higher than what they advertise, but the choice is all yours. Make sure you read their terms and conditions before borrowing from them and closely check the loan duration and the interest before clicking Apply.

How to repay your Easemoni loan

There are three different methods that you can use to repay your loan conveniently. Most times, after collecting a loan, you will have issues repaying, but Easemoni made everything more accessible by providing different methods of repayment. Below are the two most straightforward methods to repay your Easemoni loan.

#1. Auto Repayment

If you have provided your ATM card details during the registration, your account will be debited automatically once your loan is due. However, this method will not work when you don’t have any money in your bank account.

To ensure seamless repayment through this method, you must have up to the amount required from you to pay, though they can still debit part of the money if they can’t get it entirely from your account.

#2. Bank Transfer

A manual bank transfer will not allow Easemoni to debit your account without your approval. I usually use this method because I wouldn’t say I like any loan app to have full access to my account, so even if you can provide all your bank details, including the ATM, during registration, you can disable it somehow and only transfer to the account number provided for you by Easemoni.

When you click on repay now from the Easemoni loan app, select bank transfer, and you will see the account details you need to send money to. Use your mobile app or any channel you usually use to send money to the provided account, and within a minute, you will see a notification that your loan has been repaid in full.

Easemoni Contact phone numbers

If you are facing an issue but don’t have any means of reaching Easemoni, then you have nothing to be worried about. You can contact them for complaints and enquiries using the following phone numbers.

  • +234017001276
  • 09087614150
  • +234018885577

If you wish to chat with them on Whatsapp, you can use this number: 09134016733. If you wish to send an email instead, then use this address: Info.easemoni@gmail.com

Finally, Easemoni should be used cautiously because they are not the best. I still consider loan apps like carbon, branch, Fairmoney etc. The best option for loans. Let me know what you think in the comments section.
