Pay Online
You can renew your GOtv online easily simply by visiting eazy.gotvafrica.com, Login, and input your details such as your country. IUC number and your registered surname or phone number. Once you are able to login you can then renew your subscription using your ATM or bank transfer depending on the payment method that you choose.

The process is the same with GOtv mobile app and you can do al lot more when using the app, you can easily clear errors after payment using the app, renew your subscription and change your subscription packages with ease and more.
Why your GOtv is not showing after subscription
There are two main reasons why youe GOtv might not show after renewing your subscription and they as follows:
- E16 service is currently scrambled error as a result of late renewal.
- You paid for another package other and not the one your are subscribed, you need to upgrade or Downgrade.
How to Fix E16 service is currently scrambled error
If you are looking for a way to re-activate your subscription after you might have paid for your GOtv then it’s possible that some channels or all of the channels refuse to show after payment. This issue is because you waited for sometimes after the expiring date before renewing your subscription.
If you don’t want to pass through the stress of trying to activate your GOtv after payment then ensure that you always renew your subscription before it expires. Also remember that GOtv have changed some channels available in their packages. Most times the channels you thought was part of your subscription is no longer available.
However, if you just renewed your subscription but some channels are not showing then below is what you need to. Clear “E16 – service is currently scrambled error” If there is light then stay on the scrambled channel and do the following:
- Download the MyGOtv app from here if you don’t have it.
- Login with your details such as phone number or your surname, IUC and your country.
- Once you are in, Click on the “Fix Errors” under your subscription status bar.
- Click on the search box to select the error type that your are facing and click “Fix Now”
- Ensure that your Decoder is ON before doing this.
- After clcik on the fix now button the error will disappear in seconds
Remember, this error appeared because you waited so long before renewing your GOtv subscription and to avoid it. Always ensure that you renew your subscription before the due date.
How to Upgrade or Downgrade your GOtv Subscription
You might not be able to view any channel if you paid for another package which is not the one that you previously subscribed. But it can easily be fixed by following this options below:
- Login to GOtv website or App, I recommend downloading and using GOtv app to do this.
- Click on “Change” under the app
- Select your previous package and then click on Change package
- Select the package you had in mind before making the payment
- Click next and complete the upgrade or downgrade.
Note: You must have the required amount needed for the package you wish to subscribe to or willing to pay the required amount using your ATM card or bank transfer. Again upgrade means that when you are on a GOtv Max package and paid more money to subscribe to GOtv Supa or Supa+ then its an upgrade.
But when you are on Max and paid a lesser amount for Jolli then it is called downgrade. it’s as simple as that.
