I am going to guide you and show you how to check your 9Mobile data balance in this post. Check your data balance is always important, and that’s why you should always remember the right code that you can use to check your data balance.

However there are many ways to check your 9Mobule data balance, but with the help of the recently introduced unified USSD code, you will find it easier to check your data balance. The best way to check the 9Mobile data plan is by using a shortcode also known as a USSD code.

In case you have forgotten, the 9mobile network is what we used to know as Etisalat, so whether you are looking for a guide on how to check Etisalat or 9Mobile data plan, they are still the same.

How to Check 9Mobile Data Balance

As I said earlier, there are many ways to check data balance, and I am going to show you how. Firstly we are going to start with the USSD code.

How to Check 9Mobile Data Balance using Shortcode

To see your 9Mobile data balance from anywhere in Nigeria using the shortcode, simply dial: *228# after that you will receive a notification that includes your data balance.

New code *323#

You can as well check your data balance by sending an SMS to this number (228). To do this simply create a message on your phone. Write Bal and send it to 228

Alternatively, you can do a lot more than check your data balance when you download the 9mobile App from the play store.

How to Check 9Mobile data balance using the new Unified USSD

Every mobile network operator has their own unique methods of checking their data balance, but just recently, a new unified USSD code has been introduced by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC). The new unified USSD codes work in all Nigerian mobile telecommunications. Below are the latest codes that you can use to check the 9mobile data balance.

*310#: This USSD will not only help you to check your data balance but will as well help you to check your airtime call balance. However, it doesn’t matter whether you are using 9Mobile, MTN, Airtel, or Glo. It works in all networks in Nigeria.

*312#: If you want to top up your data regardless of the network you are using, then use this general USSD code to subscribe to any data plan of your choice with ease.

*311#: With this USSD code, you can recharge your phone on the go, all you need is to dial the code, follow the on-screen instructions, and you will be able to recharge your phone. You don’t need to look for where to buy airtime or look for a POS agent to help subscribe for you.

*303#: Lastly, this USSD code is what you need if you wish to borrow data or airtime from your phone and pay later. You will need this whenever you run out of data unexpectedly.

Note: Most of the Nigerian network now uses the same code to check both data and airtime balance, especially the *310#. When you dial the code, look closer to the text message you received to see both data and airtime balance.
